Financial Administrator for First Call Construction

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at First Call Construction. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and maintaining accurate records.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent position working 30-35 hours per week. The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain financial records and accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balances of books
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledgers
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- High level of attention to detail required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 depending on experience. This includes benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan.
