About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at First Call Construction. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and maintaining accurate records.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position working 30-35 hours per week. The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain financial records and accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balances of books
  • Post journal entries and maintain general ledgers
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 depending on experience. This includes benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan.
