Leadership Opportunity in Consulting Services
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our consulting services team. As Senior Director, Consulting Services, you will be responsible for managing client files, reviewing advisor and director files, and ensuring the accuracy of consulting team work. You will also provide support and training to the team, participate in client financial and estate planning, and provide expertise on complex files.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise consulting mandates and deadlines
- Review accounting and financial statements prepared by advisors and directors
- Review and/or prepare tax returns for various entities
- Review and/or prepare tax slips for various entities
- Presentation of financial statements and tax returns to clients
- Participation in the management of the mandate calendar
- Staff training and development
- Carrying out special mandates, such as financial planning and estate planning
- Participation in client meetings to understand their expectations and needs
- Preparation of service offers and presentations
- Participation in client billing
- Collaboration with the investment team on tax aspects of investment policy
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- CPA title
- Experience in an accounting firm
- Deep knowledge of taxation and investment accounting
- Experience with holding companies, trusts, and foundations
- Knowledge of financial and estate planning is a major asset
- Essential bilingualism (English and French)
