IT Infrastructure Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Solutions Specialist to join our team at The Cigna Group. This role involves providing technical expertise and support for the design, analysis, development, and implementation of Wintel infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve operational infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
- Provide input on Wintel infrastructure assignments and projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Wintel incident management ticket queues.
- Oversee the backup environment, managing jobs and schedules to ensure successful completion and quarterly restore tests.
- Support the design, analysis, development, and implementation of Wintel infrastructure solutions for business projects and work requests.
- Evaluate and recommend automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and continuity.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Windows-based virtualized operating environments.
- Experience with mainstream Windows virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and platforms.
- Microsoft-based certification required; cloud-based certification preferred.
