Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team on an overnight shift. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, operate the pharmacy computer, and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions
  • Involve in ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy department inventory
Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment) is mandatory
  • Ability to work at least 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week. Overtime may also be required
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, & management
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience preferable
Work Schedule

Shifts will start on Sunday night at 9:00pm with the last shift ending on Thursday morning at 5:30am, alternating the next week with shifts starting on Monday night at 9:00pm with last shift ending on Saturday morning at 5:30am.
