Job Description

Cash Banking Lead Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cash Banking Lead to oversee the daily operations of our cage and main bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of cash handlers, ensuring accurate transactions, and maintaining a secure and efficient banking environment.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our gaming facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the cage and main bank, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Manage a team of cash handlers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain a secure and organized banking environment, adhering to strict security protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, increasing efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as finance or business administration.
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a cash handling or banking environment.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • A working knowledge of computer software and systems, including MS Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
