Key Responsibilities- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
- Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs that align with our company's goals and objectives.
- Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations, and plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to support the well-being of our employees.
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure employee growth and development.
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform HR decisions.
- Research and recommend changes to employee benefits and health and safety practices to improve employee well-being.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Advise senior management on HR-related matters, and provide guidance to managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage knowledge and best practices in HR to drive business success.
- Coach and develop employees to achieve their full potential.
- Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans to ensure transparency and understanding.
- Deliver lectures and presentations to educate employees on HR-related topics.
- Conduct research to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs.
- Analyze and provide advice on managerial methods and organization to drive business success.
- Identify human resources requirements to support business growth and development.
- Develop and implement human resource planning and development strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of MS Office and other HR-related software to drive business success.
- Plan the re-organization of operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advise employers on human resource and other employment-related issues to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop quality management and quality assurance standards to drive business success.
- No supervision responsibility.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, electronic mail, presentation software, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and other HR-related software.
- Area of specialization in human resources, job analysis and evaluation, compensation and benefits, organizational analysis, corporate development planning, and ethical oversight and accountability framework assessment.
- Security and safety clearance, including a criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
- Flexibility, organization, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, values and ethics, ability to multitask, accountability, accuracy, and time management.
- Availability for the advertised start date and willingness to relocate for this position.
- Previous experience in this field of employment and highest level of study completed.
