About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team at Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services - Central Zone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a range of childhood illnesses and conditions, from minor complaints to complex diseases.
  • Prescribe medication and treatment plans, and refer patients for surgery when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric medicine.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
