AIM Roads Inc. is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Fleet Manager to join our team in Summerland, BC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our maintenance department, ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet, including trucks, excavators, and other specialized equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment utilization
  • Manage and train a team of mechanics and technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source and purchase replacement parts and equipment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize equipment utilization
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and management
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Class 1 or 3 drivers license with Air Brake Endorsement
