Localization Quality Assurance Specialist with Polish Language Expertise

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and linguistically skilled Polish Localization QA Tester to join our team at Amber. As a QA Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized text in various video games.
Key Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Polish to identify linguistic, visual, and cultural issues.
- Find and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles, providing clear and concise descriptions of the issues.
- Collaborate with the team to cross-check issues between different languages and provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content.
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in localized text.
- Communicate effectively with the Test Lead and address any problems or concerns that arise during the testing process.
- Native-level language competency in Polish.
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada.
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology.
- Passion for video games and a keen eye for detail.
- Professional competency in English.
- A competitive starting salary of 17 CAD/hour.
