The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector to join our fabrication shop team in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
  • Record welders symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
  • Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests
  • Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors, and Client TPIs
  • Complete Quality Control paperwork

Requirements:

  • CWB Level 1 Certification
  • NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification
  • 2+ years of Quality Control experience in a fabrication environment
  • Solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
