About the Role:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every interaction is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Food and Beverage management team in maintaining high standards of service, quality, and hygiene.
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Monitor and control the inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring that all items are properly stored and maintained.
- Assist with the training and development of new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure that all events and functions are executed flawlessly and exceed guest expectations.
- Assist with the management of the restaurant's budget, ensuring that all expenses are properly accounted for and managed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage management team.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food and beverage service, quality control, and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal, required.
