Business Development Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Dentons. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client development, sales, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual business plans with assigned practice/industry groups, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote the practice, increasing its visibility and positioning in the market.
- Prepare and submit strategic proposals for practice-related rankings, awards, and recognition programs.
- Collaborate with the Events team to deliver high-quality events, and with the Proposals team to develop customized responses to pitches and RFPs.
- Work closely with lawyers, team members, and other stakeholders to create targeted content and drive business objectives.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in client development, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to strategize and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and CRM tools, with experience in production software an asset.
