Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Stationary Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at St. Helen's Meat Packers Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of plant operations.
  • Instruct and train apprentices in plant operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect and prevent equipment malfunctioning.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Write and submit detailed reports on plant operations and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or certificate in a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a food processing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime.
  • Work in a team environment with a focus on safety and quality.
