Senior Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at JMK MAHAL Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing food service staff in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:
- Managing Food Preparation and Presentation: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting the expectations of our customers and maintaining the reputation of our restaurant.
- Scheduling and Staff Management: Create and manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods, while minimizing labor costs. Manage and train food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Quality Control and Standards: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary to prevent repeat issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: A college diploma or certificate in hospitality or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 7 months of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
