The Opportunity

">

We are seeking a skilled Youth Justice Case Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with youth and their families to develop and implement personalized case plans that address their strengths, needs, and goals.

About the Role

">

As a Youth Justice Case Manager, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing case plans, and providing support and guidance to youth and their families. You will also be expected to collaborate with other stakeholders, including court officials, community agencies, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of youth and their families to identify strengths, needs, and goals.">
  • Develop and implement personalized case plans that address the unique needs of each youth and family.">
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to youth and their families to help them achieve their goals and overcome challenges.">
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, including court officials, community agencies, and service providers, to ensure seamless delivery of services.">
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of case plans and make adjustments as needed.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • A diploma or undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as social work, child and youth care, or a related field.">
  • Minimum two years of experience working with youth and families in a case management or similar role.">
  • A strong understanding of the systemic barriers that young people face and how these may impact their lives.">
  • Knowledge of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) and its application of extrajudicial measures and extrajudicial sanctions.">
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and apply a culturally responsive lens to all interactions.">
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
