About the Role

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join their team in Kelowna, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for quoting fire deficiencies and making recommendations generated from service inspections performed by our skilled fire alarm technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing fire deficiencies and recommendations generated from service inspections.
  • Preparing quotes for building owners, contractors, and tender opportunities related to retrofit projects and tenant improvements.
  • Completing pre-qualification documents, reviewing drawings/specifications, developing proposals, and securing purchase orders/contracts.
  • Coordinating the preparation of drawings, material lists, safety plans, and field installation with site crews.
  • Coordination of design, material, labor, subcontractors, and change orders.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Fire Alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and/or sales.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.
