Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Troy Life & Fire Safety. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire suppression systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Service and troubleshoot fire suppression systems, including wet, dry, and pre-action systems, to ensure they are functioning properly.
  2. Install new fire suppression systems in both retro and new builds, coordinating with onsite trades and tracking material orders.
  3. Inspect and test fire suppression systems, including fire pumps, hydrants, alarm valves, and devices, to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  4. Maintain knowledge of fire protection codes and standards, staying up-to-date on industry developments.

Requirements

  1. ASTT certification as a Fire Protection Technician, specifically in Sprinkler/Standpipe Systems.
  2. Red Seal Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter certification, preferred.
  3. Experience running projects and managing teams.
  4. Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
