Strategic Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team in the City of Ottawa.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with the possibility of extension and additional temporary or permanent positions. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of multiple complex construction and renovation projects for new and existing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all project phases, including feasibility, initiating, planning, design development, construction implementation, and close out.
- Establish project delivery methodologies, budgets, schedules, and monitoring and control mechanisms.
- Lead project teams toward high-quality support systems with standards and operating procedures.
- Develop change management strategies to ensure employee understanding and garner support for workplace innovations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A four-year university degree in a relevant field, preferably interior design or architecture.
- A minimum of five years of experience leading the design and implementation of large-scale facility construction projects.
- Direct accountability for all aspects of projects, including finance, scheduling, resourcing, project delivery, and communication at a corporate level.
- Experience managing diverse professional teams and working as an owner's representative in major facility construction projects.
- Fluency in French or other languages.
- Experience in policy/process development and preparing professional reports for presentation to senior management or a civilian body.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $102,294.92 - $120,465.80.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a standard office environment with minimal adverse working conditions, although there may be requirements to work on sites in various states of construction and/or renovation.
