Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Labourer to join our team at VPS GEAR MFG. & MACHINING LTD.

Job Summary:

The General Labourer will be responsible for assisting machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in various tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in various tasks
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Apply mathematical techniques to solve problems in scientific fields or other fields
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player
