About the Role:

The Chief Financial Officer at Spiria Digital inc. will oversee the company's financial health, ensuring the efficient management of accounting operations and providing critical information to the management team. This key position plays a vital role in the company's strategic development, including acquisition projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop the company's strategy and participate in acquisition projects.
  • Conduct financial analyses and create strategies with the company's managers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial partners, external auditors, and suppliers.
  • Supervise a team of accounting professionals to ensure the efficiency of the accounting cycle.
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and dashboards.
  • Manage working capital and ensure timely collection from customers.
  • Improve accounting processes and administrative controls.
  • Participate in events to increase the company's visibility with financial partners.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets and establish expense approval procedures.
  • Apply for grants in collaboration with stakeholders and produce necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Significant experience with inter-company transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Strategic vision and knowledge of the challenges facing a professional services company.
  • Positive leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and decide effectively.
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose financial problems.
  • Negotiation skills from a win-win perspective.
  • Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention.
  • Experience with Business Central is an asset.
