Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment to identify potential issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment
  • Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as needed
  • Perform machining tasks to recondition or modify shafts, commutators, or other parts
  • Conduct on-site servicing and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear
  • Verify the proper performance of repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment, with regular exposure to electrical and mechanical equipment.
