Key Responsibilities:- Provide advanced perinatal nursing care to expectant clients, including conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Enhance quality of life for clients and their families through education, support, and advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in perinatal nursing.
- Maintain and advance your clinical competence through ongoing education and professional development.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing specialty program in perinatal nursing or two years' recent, related experience.
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
