Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of clients and provide individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Develop and implement education programs for clients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Completion of a recognized advanced nursing specialty program in perinatal nursing or two years' recent, related experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
