- Develop and maintain expertise in family medicine, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements.
- Patient Care
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide clear and concise information about treatment options and health status.
- Administrative and Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Certifications and Licenses
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
- Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in family medicine or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
