Job Title: Senior Architectural Millwork Finisher
  1. Mirmil Products, a reputable Canadian company, is seeking a skilled Senior Architectural Millwork Finisher to join their Campbellford location.
  2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying the final finishes and coatings to high-end custom millwork projects, including cabinetry, doors, moldings, panels, and other architectural elements.

Main Responsibilities:
Maintain a well-kept, organized, and safe working environment while promoting adherence to health and safety rules, regulations, procedures, and policies.
Prepare millwork surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and ensuring proper surface smoothness and cleanliness.
Select and apply appropriate stains, sealers, paints, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes based on project requirements.
Operate and maintain various finishing equipment, such as spray guns, pumps, brushes, rollers, and other tools.
Develop and implement standard procedures for common finishing techniques.
Work with the Production Manager to determine achievable schedules and allocation of human resources.
Evaluate finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards, making any necessary touch-ups or adjustments as required.

Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications or technical training in woodworking, finishing, or related fields being preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Architectural Millwork Finisher or similar role.
Demonstrated experience working on high-end custom millwork projects, such as cabinetry, paneling, doors, and trim.
Familiarity with WHMIS and associated safety standards.

Working Conditions:
All applicable areas within the millwork facility; machine operation.
