Job Summary:

Cineplex is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing a wide range of beverages for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take and fill drink orders, garnish and serve drinks, collect payment and operate the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning up after guests, removing empty bottles and trash, and washing glasses and utensils.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory by keeping track of wines, beers, and liquors, and ordering bar supplies as needed.
  • Ensure a safe environment by checking guests' identification, determining when a customer has had too much to drink, and arranging for a safe ride home if necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
