About the Role

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our Finance Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our business units, ensuring seamless project management, and delivering high-quality financial services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management accounting support, including project burn vs budget monitoring and identifying potential gaps.
  • Manage the client billing process, including invoice creation, WIP reconciliation, and AR and collections.
  • Perform ticket reconciliations, AR and collections, payment reconciliations, and vendor invoice reconciliation and margin recognition.
  • Prepare and deliver client activity reports, including weekly and ad-hoc reports.
  • Participate in and lead various ad-hoc initiatives, ensuring effective service delivery to our clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance/project administration role.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Tech savvy, with familiarity with Power BI an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements/requests from the business.
  • Academic background in accounting/bookkeeping/project management.
