Financial Administrator

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our Finance Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our business units, ensuring seamless project management, and delivering high-quality financial services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide project management accounting support, including project burn vs budget monitoring and identifying potential gaps.
- Manage the client billing process, including invoice creation, WIP reconciliation, and AR and collections.
- Perform ticket reconciliations, AR and collections, payment reconciliations, and vendor invoice reconciliation and margin recognition.
- Prepare and deliver client activity reports, including weekly and ad-hoc reports.
- Participate in and lead various ad-hoc initiatives, ensuring effective service delivery to our clients.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance/project administration role.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Tech savvy, with familiarity with Power BI an asset.
- Excellent analytical and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements/requests from the business.
- Academic background in accounting/bookkeeping/project management.
