Medical Oncologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at MacIntosh Cancer Clinic, located within Belleville General Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work in a community-based hospital setting, as well as at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario (CCSEO), a Queen's University-based, academic, tertiary care Regional Cancer Centre in Kingston.

About the Role

As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for managing both malignant hematology and solid tumors. You will work closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists, oncology-focused nursing staff, and an exemplary administrative team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patients with malignant hematology and solid tumors
  • Collaborate with the CCSEO team to provide comprehensive cancer care
  • Participate in academic and clinical work within the Internal Medicine department at Belleville General Hospital
  • Contribute to research and teaching opportunities at Queen's University

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Royal College Certification in Internal Medicine, or equivalent
  • Completion of sub-specialty training in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for APP under the ONT MOA agreement
