The Selkirk College Faculty of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a part-time instructor position in Anthropology. We are seeking a qualified candidate to teach Anthropology 101 and 205 in the Fall 2024 semester.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teach Anthropology courses at the 100- and 200-level.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Evaluate student progress and achievement.
  • Ensure course outcomes, assessments, and evaluations are aligned.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Anthropology.
  • Post-secondary teaching experience.
  • Experience with Moodle Learning Management System is an asset.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Selkirk College Faculty Association Collective Agreement. The salary range is $2, $4,341.23 bi-weekly (at 100% appointment) and is based on qualifications and experience.
