Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Join the Government of Nunavut's team of healthcare professionals as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Proficiently scan, interpret, and produce quality images to aid in the accurate and timely diagnosis of patients.
- Act as a resource to nurses in the Community Health Centers and the Obstetrical Team at Qikiqtani General Hospital by attending weekly antenatal clinic rounds.
- Utilize ultrasound equipment to independently produce and interpret high-quality sonographic images as required by the off-site Radiologist.
- Successful completion of an accredited sonography program.
- Current registration with Sonography Canada.
- Two years of sonography experience.
- Annual certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
