Software Developer in Test Role at Apple Inc.

As a Software Developer in Test, you will be responsible for planning, designing, writing, maintaining, and executing test cases manually and through automation using Swift and Python. You will drive all aspects of quality and process improvements to ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready for release to our customers. Effective communication and prioritization skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate multi-functional test efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency
  • Perform manual testing to ensure software quality and identify defects
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in QA/QE or software development
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Swift
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA terminology
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Experience with cloud-based frameworks and APIs
