Job Summary:

The Director of Operations for RTL Construction is responsible for the overall performance of our hauling operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

This role supports our company's mission by providing strategic leadership and guidance to our team, driving operational excellence and efficiency.

The successful candidate should have an adaptable approach within their leadership style to best serve the needs of our team, and as required, adjust from functioning at a high level to very granular within the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of operations professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Approximately 10 years of diverse experience with leadership responsibilities in the transportation industry is required, with specific exposure to fuel and bulk commodities hauling preferred.

This position requires a strong understanding of operational management principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
