About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Syndicate Carpet Cleaning Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and that the facilities are maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Receive Payment: Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and equipment to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our facilities are maintained to a high standard and that our operations run smoothly.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and clients.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
  • Reliability: Demonstrate a high level of reliability and accountability, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Experience
  • Duration of Employment: Permanent position with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
