As a Store Manager in Training, you will be responsible for driving retail business operations at a Retail Store location and helping to fund the Goodwill mission of ending unemployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Retail Business Operations: Develop and execute retail operations plans to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Lead and Coach Team Members: Directly lead Assistant Store Manager(s), Production Team, and Donation Attendants, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
  • Manage Store Operations: Ensure payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget, and store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Coordinate with Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to drive donations and achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Monitor product levels, sales, and employee performance, making adjustments as needed to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2+ Years Retail Management Experience: Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the thrift industry.
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyze data and create reports.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean MVR are required.
  • Ability to Pass Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for the position.
