At No Frills, we're looking for an exceptional Retail Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that our products are displayed and priced correctly.

About the Role

This is a key position within our company, and as such, we're looking for someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to motivate and lead a team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a retail environment. They should also have a strong understanding of critical success factors for discount food stores like No Frills, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train staff to understand policies and procedures, and ensure they can communicate effectively with customers.
  • Schedule departments to meet business needs.
  • Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety policies, and ensure all staff follow these guidelines.
  • Delegate and prioritize workload for staff.
  • Effectively merchandise advertising and promotional programs.
  • Recommend sales goals and maintain up-to-date information on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure product rotation, signage, and pricing integrity.
  • Accountable for store in absence of Franchisee, including key carrying and alarm responsibilities.
Requirements
  • 2 years of management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for No Frills concept.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to manage people and work with minimal functional direction.
  • Open availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.

Earnings

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
