Accounting Assistant

SAB 13JI Immigration Services InC. is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, as well as a strong understanding of financial records and general ledgers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining financial records, and establishing and balancing various accounts. They will also be responsible for preparing financial statements and statistical reports, as well as reconciling accounts.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Maintain financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Prepare financial statements and statistical reports
- Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 to 40 hours per week
