Job Title: Manufacturing System Administrator

Join Giesecke & Devrient GB Ltd. as a key member of our team and take on the challenge of overseeing the smooth operation of our Manufacturing System.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing System Administrator to join our team. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for managing the configuration, user, and reporting activities associated with the system, its key components, and user activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Operations, IT, Client Services, PMO, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Manage application configuration, user, and reporting activities, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Provide expert support and maintain the 'Tactic' scheduling system and associated integration with the Manufacturing System.
  • Oversee the training of G+D users, including creating associated documents as required.
  • Maintain the DCT Helper Application (sensors) and configure and manage print queues and Manufacturing System ticket printers.
  • Coordinate with IT to oversee the setup and configuration of data collection terminals.
  • Manage application patches and license files in close collaboration with IT.
Requirements:
  • ~3-5 years' hands-on work experience with DB and reporting.
  • ~ NET applications.
  • ~ 2-3 years of experience creating Windows Services in.NET.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical details into workable general scenarios within the business structure.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SQL, and XML.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel Macros (VBA), VB, and C#.
