About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Sam's Auto Shop. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing automotive systems and components, adjusting and repairing or replacing parts and components, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Automotive Systems: Inspect motor in operation and test automotive systems and components to identify any issues or defects.
  • Repair and Maintain Vehicles: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure vehicles are running safely and efficiently.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to keep vehicles in good working condition.
  • Advise Customers: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements to ensure they are informed and satisfied with the services provided.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week is standard.
