About the Position

As a Licensed Mechanic with First Student Canada, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnosing and performing all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Ensuring work orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing mobile emergency services as needed.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid driver's license and S and/or T license.
  • A mechanic's tool set and a willingness to participate in ASE certification programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
