Job Title: Senior Specialist, Project Engineering

Recruit Island is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Project Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our Applications Engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' needs in the rapidly expanding pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and new team members
  • Participate in industry standards groups and committees to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Establish strategic relationships with clients as a trusted technical partner
  • Work with Business Development and other teams to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Manage Applications Engineering Projects in CRM software
  • Manage library of single-use componentry for use in single-use assemblies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology
  • At least 5-8 years of experience as a technical specialist in single-use systems and technologies geared toward the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Experience in responding to client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
  • Proficiency in CAD and word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations and interpret technical instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
