Compelling Opportunity in Pharmacy Management

We are seeking an accomplished Assistant Pharmacy Manager to join our Sardis location in Chilliwack, British Columbia. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for driving pharmacy dispensary operations and delivering patient-centred care.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations, encompassing receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Clinical responsibilities including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling containers with correct quantities.
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals and community partners.
  • Inventory management.
  • Team member scheduling, training, and management.
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and patient needs.
  • Developing and implementing business growth strategies and plans.
  • Enforcing policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Your pharmacist licence and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Your Injection Certification.
