Pharmacy Technician

Custom Health is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Chilliwack Pharmacy Hub. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services. This position requires strong technical expertise and professional judgment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications.
- Prepare and package medications, ensuring proper labeling and instructions.
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and assist with inventory management.
- Process prescription orders, including data entry and insurance claims processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to pharmacy standards and regulations.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of pharmacy equipment.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Other duties are assigned.

**Job Requirements** **and Qualifications**:

- Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program.
- Registration and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, prescription processing, and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription dispensing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care
- Must reside in the Province of BC, Canada

**Experience**:

- 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (required)
- Proficiency in data entry and billing
