Job Title: Human Resources Management Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Management Consultant to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including policy development, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
• Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
• Establish and implement policies and procedures
• Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
• Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
• Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
• Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
• Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
• Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
• Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
• Oversee the development of communication strategies
• Advise senior management
• Provide customer service
• Manage knowledge
• Coaching
• Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
• Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
• Deliver lectures and presentations
• Conduct research to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs
• Analyze and provide advice on the managerial methods and organization of an establishment
• Identify human resources requirements
• Human resource planning and development
• MS Office
• Plan the re-organization of operations
• Advise employers on human resource and other employment-related issues
• Develop quality management and quality assurance standards

Requirements:
• Master's degree
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
