Job Title: Truck Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at FREEWAY TRUCK REPAIR & TIRE SHOP LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, repairing or replacing mechanical units or components, estimating parts and labor cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, performing scheduled maintenance service, testing and adjusting units to specifications, and completing reports to record problems and work performed.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure optimal performance
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
