Job Title: Retail Sales Associate - Customer Service Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at BB INTL. AFRICAN FOODS INC. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide advice about merchandise to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice about merchandise to customers
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
  • Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
  • Assist in display of merchandise
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail business
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
