Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in drywall finishing, with a focus on applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project plans.
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting or finishing.
  • Fabricate and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Mix and apply acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in drywall finishing.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Work Environment

This position involves working in a commercial setting with frequent travel to various locations. The work site environment can be dusty and noisy.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
