Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Care Aide to join our team at Shorncliffe Village Care Home in Sechelt, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality client care.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and assisting with meals and oral hygiene.
- Respond to client needs and report significant observations to healthcare professionals.
- Utilize mechanical aids to transport clients and provide assistance with lifting and transferring.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.

Located on the lower Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Sechelt offers a charming seaside community with access to outdoor activities, parks, and amenities.
Qualifications
- Grade 10 (including English 10).
- Successful graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Eligible for Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Ability to travel between locations.
