We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team at Fire Safety and Protection LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects, coordinating with the Labour Supervisor and Project Manager, and maintaining the highest quality of installation.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the Labour Supervisor/Project Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
- Implement quality and safety controls to maintain a safe work environment and deliver superior installation quality.
- Manage company-issued vehicles, equipment, and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep.
- Submit accurate and timely timesheets to the Payroll Department.
- Participate in pre-construction, coordination, and job progress meetings to ensure project understanding and communication.
- Recommend optimal timing for material delivery and project start to meet project schedule requirements.
- Attend in-house meetings and training sessions, contributing to process improvements.
- Develop and train field personnel in good installation procedures, promoting professionalism and safety practices.
- Provide technical support and consultation to company apprentices, technicians, designers, and shop employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Labour Supervisor and/or Project Manager.
- Minimum 5 years of experience installing sprinkler/fire protection systems.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance.
