About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clothing Procurement Specialist to join our team at Manji Trading Inc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality clothing products for our wholesale establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Supplier Relationships

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers to ensure a consistent and high-quality supply of clothing products.

Merchandise Needs Analysis

You will analyze our merchandise needs to determine the quantity and type of clothing products to purchase, taking into account market trends, consumer demand, and competitor activity.

Product Sourcing and Selection

You will visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to source and select high-quality clothing products that meet our quality and specification standards.

Market Research and Analysis

You will conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends, consumer demand, and competitor activity, and use this information to inform your purchasing decisions.

Quality Control

You will inspect products for quality and other specifications to ensure that they meet our high standards.

Business Development

You will work with our sales team to develop and implement business strategies to increase sales and revenue.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Work Setting

Wholesale establishment/store

English

Work Hours

30 to 44 hours per week
