About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Team Lead to join our team at Luxoft. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a distributed, multidisciplinary team to manage both operational support and DevOps functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Proactively monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelines, addressing potential issues, and implementing optimizations for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify the most effective infrastructure solutions and recommend tools that align with specific business objectives and technological requirements.
  • ITIL Processes: Follow and uphold ITIL processes such as incident, change, and problem management, ensuring strict adherence to service management standards.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure infrastructure resilience and minimize downtime.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and team performance.
Requirements
  • Must-Have Skills: Proven experience in team and vendor management, leading teams of 4+ members for at least 2 years, with the ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Must-Have Hard Skills: Extensive experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting in production environments. Proficiency with AWS cloud infrastructure (AWS certification preferred), including best practices for cloud security, scalability, and automation. Extensive hands-on experience with DevSecOps and GitOps methodologies, integrating security practices into the CI/CD pipelines.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with message brokers, monitoring tools, security tools, ETL tools, and other related technologies.
